Courses & Curriculum
To earn their degree, students in the Online Executive MPH program must complete a minimum of 63 quarter credits, which are segmented as follows:
- 51 course credits
- 3 credits of a practicum
- 9 credits of a capstone project or thesis
The Online Executive MPH program offers a cutting-edge curriculum adapted to meet the changing needs of students, employers and the public health field. Through the curriculum, you will build a solid foundation in the disciplinary competencies of biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, health management and policy, and social and behavioral health. At the same time, you will develop skills in program development and evaluation, health promotion and education, evidence-based research and global health. The practicum and your capstone or thesis project allow for deeper focus in specific areas of public health.
