Online Learning

The UW Online Executive MPH is a blended program, meaning it combines online and classroom learning. With the exception of six on-campus sessions, classes are conducted online, giving you the flexibility to do your coursework largely on your own schedule and at your own location.

How Online Learning Works

From your computer, you will connect to a robust online learning management system called Canvas. This Web-based software allows you to connect with your instructors and the rest of your cohort in a virtual classroom. Students are required to attend class virtually at specific times each week. You can access course materials, including recorded lectures, and interact with faculty and fellow classmates in online forums at any time.

As in a classroom course, you will start and finish each online course with the rest of your cohort. All students have the same deadlines, and you will need to keep up with all lectures, readings and other assignments.
